½ Cup Butter
¾ Cup Brown Sugar (tightly packed)
1 Egg
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
3 Squares Unsweetened Chocolate-Melted
2 Cups Flour
½ Teaspoon Baking Powder
¼ Teaspoon Baking Soda
¼ Teaspoon Salt
2/3 Cup Milk
Preheat oven to 350°. Cream butter. Add sugar gradually. Beat in egg, vanilla, and cooled chocolate. Alternately add sifted dry ingredients and milk. Drop tablespoon-sized cookies 2” apart onto greased cookie sheet. Cool and frost.
FROSTING
1 Cup Chocolate Chips
2 Tablespoons Butter
¼ Cup Milk
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
2 Cups Powdered Sugar
Melt chocolate with butter and milk. Blend in the sugar and vanilla. Frost cookies.
